REVIEW: Lady M at Marina Square (Permanently Closed)

After the disappointing lunch at Rider's cafe (Click to see how bad it is! ), we decided to go to Lady M at Marina square for some deserts! Lady M is originated from New York! They are well-known for their Mille crepe cakes. They have 3 outlets in Singapore. They are located at marina square shopping mall, orchard central and one Fullerton respectively. No need to go to New York to taste the awesome Mille crepe cakes already! We have it here in Singapore too.

They even serve main dishes! I have yet to try them out though.

Decided not to drink coffee so ordered one of the tea. This one is peppermint tea. The tea is not bad as the taste is not too overpowering. You can add some sugar cubes if it is not sweet enough. I prefer my tea to be light though. :)

Green tea mille crepes. 

Layers and layers of thin crepes sits atop of yummy pastry cream finishing with green tea powder coating the top of cake. 

Gâteau aux Marrons

Almond flour cake enveloping a soft whipped cream center with dashes of chestnut infused cream and sugar coated roasted walnuts. Every bite into the cake gives you the awesome rich chest nutty flavor leaving you with the 'awwww' feeling. You will love this if you love chestnuts or almonds.

Signature Mille crepes.

This is kind of similar to the green tea crepe that i had. Crepe is layered with pastry cream with top caramelized to golden brown. This is kind of sweet though and not to my liking, probably due to the caramel.
