REVIEW: Good Japanese Cafes in Singapore: Cafe & Meal Muji at Plaza Singapura Singapore

Café&Meal MUJI is an extension of the popular Japanese retail brand, Muji. Muji Cafe offers a range of food and beverages that reflect the same principles of simplicity and quality that are central to the Muji brand.
Their deli set includes a variety of dishes such as salads, sandwiches, soups, rice bowls, desserts, and beverages like coffee and tea. 
They already have it in Japan. It's located at Paragon and also prices are super affordable! So it is just right beside their shop. You can view more about the shop here: shop

What's so special about their menu is that they have these set menus.

3-Deli set: Set includes 1 hot deli with 2 cold deli and a choice of white rice or bread. ($12.90)
4-Deli set: Set includes 2 hot deli with 2 cold deli and a choice of white rice or bread. ($16.90)

The hot deli consists of cooked food while the cold deli serves a wide variety of Japanese-style salads.

I ordered the Spinach Chicken Hamburger with Sakura Chicken & Pasta Salad with Lemon Flavor and Prawn & Edamame Salad with Spiced Mayo Sauce. 
The salad is quite fresh as in the vegetables are crunchy and delicious when paired with the sauces. The rice served is the kind of rice that they eat in Japan. Very nice! I wish that they would serve a bigger portion of rice though. This cafe is definitely one of a kind and is a healthy eating choice.

Oh ya. They give you a pair of MUJI chopsticks with every meal for free. :X





Braised Grain Fed Beef Oyster Blade with Red Wine
This dish presents a succulent grain-fed beef oyster blade, braised to perfection in a flavorful red wine sauce. Renowned for its marbling and tenderness, the oyster blade cut is ideal for braising. The addition of red wine imparts a rich depth of flavor to the meat, enhancing its overall taste. I found the beef to be exceptionally tender, and the sauce paired wonderfully with the rice.


Orecchiette Pasta and Mushroom Salad in Truffle Ranch Dressing
This delightful dish combines orecchiette pasta cooked to al dente perfection with mushrooms, offering a delightful array of textures and flavors. The salad is generously coated in a luxurious truffle ranch dressing, imparting earthy and creamy undertones. The truffle essence in this dish is particularly pronounced and adds an exquisite touch.


Thick Omelette with Japanese-style Mushroom
This dish features a thick, fluffy omelet expertly prepared to perfection. Japanese-style mushrooms, such as shiitake, are utilized as a filling, lending a savory and earthy dimension to the omelet's flavor profile.
