Pasta and Olives
Ingredients:
- Some Olives from Sonnamera
- Prego Traditional Tomato Pasta Sauce
- Lundberg, Rotini, Brown Rice Pasta
- Shiitake Mushrooms
- Carrots
Directions:
- Cook brown rice pasta in large pan of salt water for around 5-7 minutes to achieve al-dente texture
- Stir fry mushrooms, carrots and olives for around 5 minutes.
- Add tomato pasta sauce and brine into the already cooked ingredients. Cook for awhile more.
- Add drained pasta.
- Serve and add basil as dressing on top.
I feel like adding the brine adds more depth to the already sweet taste of the pasta sauce. :) This is easy to make and only take no less than 15 minutes.
