Recipe adapted from averiecooks.com. Too lazy to make my own sweet and sour sauce when you can get pre-made sauces from the supermarket. I feel like there are a lot more variation to the Italian pasta, like this Asian inspired version. Not really authentic, but nonetheless very creative.
Ingredients
SWEET AND SOUR ASIAN PASTA
Ingredients
- 1 pound Spaghetti
- 1 Premade Sweet and Sour Sauce
- Cod Fish
- Vegetables (carrots, corn and xiao bai cai)
- Cook the Spaghetti in a pot for around 10 minutes to achieve al dente texture. Please read the instructions on the box/packaging of your pasta for specific timings.
- Cook the Cod Fish and vegetables in a skillet over low heat until cooked.
- Add the spaghetti followed by the sauce. I used LEE KUM KEE Sweet Sour Pork Spare Ribs Sauce. Stir to make everything is well- coated.
- Transfer to a serving plate.
- Sprinkle black pepper as garnish.
