REVIEW: HONG HENG FRIED SOTONG PRAWN MEE (TIONG BAHRU MARKET) & 小弟炒虾面 XIAO DI FRIED PRAWN NOODLE

HONG HENG FRIED SOTONG PRAWN MEE (TIONG BAHRU MARKET)

This is my virgin eats at Hong Heng and what really lured me to Tiong Bahru was their Michelin bib gourmand status. The noodles were served in short strands and was imbued with the essence of the crustacean broth.  You can choose to mix the noodles with the sweet sambal chili that is served at the side. Ya'll know what kind of hokkien mee i like though.. wet and moist and this has none of that but this was quite tasty too! I think it's worth to try if you're looking for hokkien mee at that area. Do note the long queue during lunch time.

小弟炒虾面 XIAO DI FRIED PRAWN NOODLE

When the 小弟 eats at 小弟炒虾面... but 小弟 wished that the portion could be bigger but other than that this is not too bad!! Hokkien mee should be moist and wet like this! This taste kind of similar to Tian Tian Lai Fried Hokkien Mee
