[REVIEW] FRAPASBAR BY SAVEUR AT THE CATHAY

French Tapas is a thing now.. and Frapasbar by Saveur is here to serve just that with a modern touch. Frapasbar @ The Cathay was revamped and reopened in December 2018 for a fresh new look; offering a variety of alcoholic drinks, mains and french tapas bar snacks.

The Sophia's Risotto 🥘 caught my eye with its huge chunks of crab meat and indeed it was served with it along with Mackerel meat as well. The dish was cooked in vegetable broth with hints of coconut. It's a hearty meal which will have you craving for more.

The Burrata Tomato 🥗 is a delicious side with huge chunks of burrata cheese, with lots of cherry tomatoes tossed in pesto sauce.

We wanted to order a beef Frapas dish which is the slow-cooked Beef Cheeks 🥩that was served on a bed of mash potatoes with pickled red Bombay onion. Expect fork-tender, and flavoursome meat.
