In response to the needs of the times, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore is offering exclusive Delivery and Takeaway menus from 7 April 2020, where Ambassadors from Food & Beverage and Culinary will bring the dining experience to diners by delivering right to your doorstep. Despite staying home and keeping safe – diners will definitely not be missing out on sumptuous meals.

Choose from a range of quintessentially modern Asian dishes with a twist such as the 15 Stamford Rotisserie Chicken Rice (S$28) where its silky smooth prebiotic-fed “Yuan” chicken is roasted to golden perfection for a healthier alternative or Laksa (S$34), a glorious bowl of well-loved lemak (creamy coconut milk) broth filled with onsen quail eggs, succulent grilled prawns, and house-made dried shrimp floss. There is also the Pork Prime Rib ‘Bak Kut Teh’ ($44), slow-cooked at 85 degrees Celsius for over 12 hours; Fried Rice ‘Lotus Leaf’, alluringly fragrant and aromatic rice, wrapped in lotus leaf and filled with juicy king prawn, seared Hokkaido scallop and X.O sauce; and Har Mi Linguini ($34), cooked in prawn stock and stir-fried with ebiko, shrimp oil, and shrimp floss, filled with rich flavors of prawn robustness.

Experience authentic German comfort food at Frieda with its reinterpretation of traditional German cuisine with Austrian influences, making it perfect for abendbrot, or a homely evening meal. For a healthier option, opt for Frieda Garden Salad ($15) or Garden Salad with Caramelised Goat Cheese ($25), treated with seasonal organic lettuce, brined beetroot, thinly sliced cucumbers, and sweetly addictive cherry tomatoes. Ideal for sharing, the Pork Knuckle ($49) is slow-cooked in aromatic pork stock with bay leaves, peppercorns, cloves, juniper berries, garlic, and onion for three hours and baked in the oven to crispy perfection. There is also the traditional Wiener Schnitzel ($37), a thick cutlet of breaded veal, pan-fried to perfection; or the Half Roasted Chicken ($30) complete with a potato salad. Feast on Frieda’s Meat Platter ($49 for two, $90 for four) with your family; served with four types of sausages, roasted chicken, meatloaf, sauerkraut, mashed potato, pretzel dumpling, and Dijon mustard.

Ease into your mains with appetizers such as Green Mango Prawn Salad ($12), finely chopped crunchy mango tossed with juicy prawns and tossed with a sweet, sour and invigoratingly piquant dressing or Deep-Fried Lemongrass Wings ($18), fried to golden perfection and filled with a zesty aroma. Soup lovers can look forward to the Tom Yum Seafood ($15), a steaming bowl of hot, sour, and spicy soup served with seafood filled to the brim; flavourful Green Curry and Red Curry (each at $18) with an option for beef or chicken; both curries are rich with coconut milk which lengthens its savory spices.

Carb lovers get to pick among Chalerm Thai’s Pineapple Fried Rice ($15), with options for prawn or chicken, which comes in a sweet, juicy profile with chunks of fresh pineapple, cashew nuts and raisins, topped with a sprinkling of chicken floss;  Pad Thai Kung ($14), stir-fried with Thai rice noodles with chives, tamarind sauce and topped with large prawns; or Stir-Fried Basil ($18) with choice of pork, chicken, or beef, dressed up with delectable sauce of chili, garlic and Thai basil for a mouth-watering treat.
