Kuriya Japanese Market’s Christmas Platters Provide a Festive Twist on Classic Japanese Favourites

The brand has also unveiled several new Christmas-themed creations, including the adorable Santa Claus Salmon Ika Somen Sushi and Blooming Salmon Ikura Sushi.

With Christmas just around the corner, what better time than now to feast and make merry? Kuriya Japanese Market introduces three new Japanese-inspired Christmas platters that are packed with premium fish and ingredients that are air-flown directly from Japan. These carefully-plated platters make for the perfect addition to any family Christmas party, or as socially-distant gifts to be sent to friends.

Santa Claus Sushi Box ($28.80)

New additions to this year’s platters include the Santa Claus Salmon Ika Somen Sushi, which is made with expertly-cut squid from Japan, the Wasabiko Tamago Maki, a tasty roll that’s as savory as it is spicy, and lastly, the Blooming Salmon Ikura Sushi, which is made with only the freshest Norwegian salmon.

You’ll find other delightful Christmas-inspired creations in Kuriya Japanese Market’s three-party platters, such as the smiling Snowman Salmon Sushi and the creative Santa Belt Maguro Nigiri.

The first set is the Snowman Sushi Box (27 pieces, $25.8), which is perfect for families with kids, or for those who are kids at heart. You're sure to notice the adorable row of Snowman Salmon Sushi, which comes accompanied by a row of savory Wasabiko Tamago Maki, Ebiko Kappa Maki, and the equally-cute Santa Belt Maguro Nigiri.

Salmon-lovers will definitely want to try the Santa Claus Sushi Box (20 pieces, $28.8). They’ll be treated to a row of mouth-watering Salmon Mayo Rolls and another row of Santa Claus Salmon Ika Somen Sushi. Rounding off the platter is the creative Santa Belt Maguro Nigiri, one of Kuriya Japanese Market’s new offerings for this year.

For those with big families, go for the hearty Christmas Sushi Platter ($68.8). It contains 48 pieces of handmade sushi, including four types of sushi unique to this platter — the new Blooming Salmon Ikura Sushi, Salmon Maru, Sakura Salmon Roll, and Tuna Salad Maki.
