FRENCH FOLD is a new cafe that opens late last year at Telok Ayer selling crepes and galettes. If you're familiar with Merci Marcel, they're a new concept cafe opened by them.
A french fold is the combination of a paper or material half-folded in one direction followed by a half-fold perpendicular to the first. Very smart of them to call themselves French fold because crepes and galettes are from France and they're folded too.
I ordered the No.4 which consists of Chiffonade of ham, organic egg sunny side up, over sautéed mushrooms, and Comté cheese. The fillings for the galette were yummy but the buckwheat galette had a nutty taste and a slightly bitter aftertaste. They serve a total of 12 kinds of galettes and 10 kinds of crepes.
