Spring is upon us! Welcome this joyful season with Milksha’s two brand-new beverages, Taro Cha Cha and Taro Kacang! This caffeine-free range of drinks will be available for six weeks, from 9 March 2021, or while stocks last.
The Taro Cha Cha (S$6.80) sees the marriage of Milksha’s signature Fresh Taro Milk with taro balls, coconut cream, and brown sugar sago. The taro puree is made with fragrant taro from Taiwan, Dajia (大甲) which is mashed by hand daily, then blended with fresh milk. The sago that is simmered in melted brown sugar lends an extra depth of caramel flavor, then paired with chewy taro balls, imported from Taiwan and contain no preservatives or artificial coloring. This beverage is reminiscent of our local Bur Bur Cha Cha, boasting a moderate sweetness and a delicate nuttiness!
Equally tasty is the Taro Kacang (S$6.00) with a combination of fresh red bean milk, coconut cream, brown sugar sago, taro puree, and taro balls, this beverage is a flavourful play of textures.
Now, Taro balls (S$1.20) are also a permanent topping option and can be added to Fresh Taro Milk, Tea Latte Series, and Premium Tea Series.
The Taro Cha Cha, Taro Kacang, and Taro Balls will be available across all of Milksha’s outlets.
