REVIEW: Good lobster restaurant in Singapore: The Chunky Lobster serves a variety of Lobster rolls with a selection of seafood dishes with beers

Supporting local establishments! Chunky Lobster is a local dine-in concept at Orchard Gateway that not only has Lobsters but a myriad of seafood options! They were originally a kiosk at Basement 1 of Bugis Junction and have come a long way to become an actual restaurant.

We tried the following:

THE NEW ORIGINAL ROLL

Their Original roll is a must-try here, huge chunks of Lobster Meat wrapped in a toasted brioche roll, dressed in lemon, mayo, Creamy Tarragon Sauce, and chives. The fresh, succulent chunks of lobster are so good! Their lobsters are imported from the Atlantic so quality is guaranteed!

They also have the Hadouken with wasabi mayo, Red monster with mala, Liquid gold with cheddar melt, and Surf & turf with bolognese sauce.

 

LOBSTER TRUFFLE CAPELLINI

The Chilled Capellini pasta was aldente and had a prominent truffle taste thanks to the Truffle Shoyu. The thin strands of Capellini pasta go perfectly with the lobster meat. Sakura Ebi, Ikura, Kombu, and Chives add a Japanese touch.

GARLIC MISO MUSSELS

Blue Mussels, White Miso, Wakame, Garlic, Butter, Kombu

Delicious Asian-inspired way to have the mussels. Remember to scoop some of the tasty sauce and slurp up the tender mussels.

TRUFFLE PARMESAN FRIES

Good sides to order to share though the truffle taste could be stronger.
