REVIEW: Good Cafe food in Singapore: Korea Minimalistic cafe - Cafe Found in Ngee Ann City

Cafe Found is a Korean-style cafe located in Ngee Ann City's The Editor's Market. This café reminds me of a lot of Korean cafes with their minimalistic aesthetic and basic furnishings, such as granite countertops and metal panels. The café started in October of last year and recently introduced its new lunch/dinner menu last month. I adore pesto, so I was eager to try them!

Address: 391 Orchard Road, B1-16 to 24, Ngee Ann City, 238872

Opening Hours: 10 am - 9.30 pm daily

Main courses include Four-cheese tortelloni, Spatchcock Chicken, Ribeye, Black Cod, Mussels, and Tiger Prawns, as well as the Kale pesto rigatoni and Spinach Ravioli that we ordered, with prices ranging from $16 to $28. These are the huge plates, which were most likely ordered for one person.

I believe they also provide small portions that may be shared. Burrata and Grapes, Asparagus and Eggs, Cauliflower and Blanco, and numerous more are notable.

Aside from cuisine and pastries, they also serve beverages such as coffee, tea, kombucha, and non-alcoholic wines and mixers. Fans of Niko Neko matcha will be pleased to learn that the matcha used was sourced from there.

We had the following:

Kale Pesto Rigatoni (V). I noticed they don't use the conventional basil. but opt for the more earthy option which is kale. It is still delicious with olive oil, roasted pine nuts, and heaps of grated Grana Padano cheese which adds a savory cheesy flavor to it. Loving this!

Few flavor combinations for pasta are as delightful as spinach and ricotta cheese. Their housemade Spinach Ravioli (V) features fresh, hand-formed semolina ravioli stuffed with a creamy blend of spinach and ricotta, then doused in a light, butter-based sauce enlivened with hints of sage and nutmeg.

This Honey Yoghurt Cheesecake dessert is so deceptively indulgent having consisted of greek yogurt and white chocolate with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of thyme. A lot of the sweetness in this cheesecake comes from warm honey poured over the top of the cake.

The Matcha Tiramisu here was unfortunately on the sweeter side but this was quite light and not cloying. They used Niko Neko matcha for this.

Shiny Muscat shortcake has a light, refreshing flavor with a fluffy sponge, while Kyoho Grape Oolong Tea provides a subtle kyoho grape flavor. When drunk hot, it's the best!
