Not sure if you have seen Indian restaurants that sell alcohol as well, and Indian cuisine tends to be intensely flavored and heavily spiced. MANAM is the first in Singapore to curate and brings diners an elevated experience of cocktail pairing with authentic South Indian cuisine. Do check with them on how you can pair the cocktails with the delicious food!
🍸 See You Tomorrow - Combination of 7 Alcohol
The See You Tomorrow is the strongest out of the 4 I have tried with a whopping 7 alcohol mixed in this concoction. Not for those with low alcohol tolerance as you may just see tomorrow next morning. lol
The Cherish is quite strong as well, but with the taste of cherries with a slight bitter turn at the end.
The Mystic tastes quite mild to me and is on the sweeter side so it is quite nice for me.
The Sunset tears is a bodied crafted cocktail with a smoky-sweet taste but also tastes bitter for me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀We were served a variety of meat in different gravies and curries.
🦐 Kadai prawns is a finger-licking spicy Indian prawn curry with Fresh Prawns and Capsicum tossed in Onion Tomato Gravy and Aromatic Spices.
🍚🦐 We had the Prawn Biryani too which was not bad too. I enjoyed having these with the different kinds of gravies and curries. They also have Garlic Naan and Parotta which is good for the same purpose as well.
Other notable dishes to try:
🐟 Vaazhai Ilai Meen Varuval (Banana Leaf fish fry) has Fish Troncons Marinated in Spiced Curry Leaf Paste, Wrapped in Banana Leaf, and cooked till tender. The fish was flaky and tender.
🦐 Lastly, Karuvepillai Eraal Varuval (Curry leaf prawn masala) is a dish where Prawns are Marinated in Spiced Curry Leaf Paste and cooked till tender.
