It’s About to Get Oh-So-Shiok at Pepper Lunch as It Celebrates Local Flavours with First National Day Promotion Series all through August

As National Day draws near and everyone gets ready to wave the national flag high and proud, Pepper Lunch gets in on the celebrations with its first National Day series of promotions, highlighting local flair and flavors across all its outlets for the whole month of August. 

Across Pepper Lunch Restaurants, Pepper Lunch Express, and Pepper Lunch GO!, it premieres an Oh-So-Shiok series of seasonal promotional items featuring local tastes that all Singaporeans can proudly identify with. From satay to rendang and burgers, get ready to celebrate 57 years of Singapore’s independence at Pepper Lunch. 

PEPPER LUNCH RESTAURANT

From 1 July – 14 September 2022, Pepper Lunch Restaurant is debuting a Kueh Salat Cake ($3.60 per slice) to bring a taste of tradition. Pepper Lunch’s iteration of the traditional kueh of glutinous rice steamed with coconut milk topped off with a layer of egg and coconut milk custard sees pandan sponge cake sandwiching a layer of blue glutinous rice. Top up only $0.80 to change your set meal’s side dish to the Kueh Salat Cake for a seasonal unique taste.

From 21 July – 14 September 2022, it is also serving up a Teppan Satay sizzling plate meal, marinating and then hot plate-cooking diced cut beef and chicken with a satay marinade before serving it doused with peanut sauce and sides of diced pineapple and broccoli. The Satay Diced Cut Steak (Aust. Beef) & Chicken Combo ($16.90) brings red and white meat together for a hearty meal with a local take. Alternatively, you can choose to have the Satay Diced Cut Steak (Aust. Beef) ($17.90) or Satay Chicken Steak ($14.90) to taste the best of the meats on their own. 

PEPPER LUNCH EXPRESS

From 1 July – 31 August 2022, all Pepper Lunch Express celebrates the rendang with a Rendang Fiesta special series for its pepper rice. The Rendang Beef Pepper Rice with Egg ($8.50) brings juicy cubes of beef well-marinated and cooked to immense tenderness in a coconut gravy true to real rendang tastes. The Rendang Chicken Pepper Rice with Egg ($8.20) swaps out beef for succulent chicken that nonetheless goes immensely well with rice.

PEPPER LUNCH GO!

From 1 – 10 August 2022 for the special occasion of the country’s 57th independence day, Pepper Lunch GO! will be offering its signature Pepper Rice Burger priced at $5.70. Instead of buns, it has two rice cakes pressed together into a dense sandwich vessel, carrying between them the juicy slices of teppanyaki grilled meats you have come to know and love of Pepper Lunch. This whole new concept is novel in presentation but brings the same comforting flavors of all Pepper Lunch Pepper Rice sets. It is limited to only 2 burgers per person, while stocks last.
