M Malls’ First-ever M Food Culture Fest—Local Brands’ Offerings and Products Showcase at Jurong Point, AMK Hub and Swing By @ Thomson Plaza

Things are set to heat up at M Malls this June and July with the organization’s first-ever local artisan food culture festival! The event marks a collaboration between M Malls and Food Culture Singapore to help local heritage brands and start-ups reach out to more consumers. 

An initiative by local sugar manufacturer Cheng Yew Heng Candy Factory and supported by Enterprise Singapore, Food Culture was born out of a desire to help businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic. Launched on 9 August 2021, the platform rallies local start-up and heritage brands to promote Singapore's vibrant food culture and showcase her culture of innovation. Brands are allowed to Go Digital by showcasing their products online, Connect with Consumers through digital marketing and experiential pop-ups, and Go Global by connecting with renowned distributors all over the world.

Operating from 11.30am to 9.30pm and roving between AMK Hub, Jurong Point & Swing By @ Thomson Plaza, shoppers can expect to sample and purchase delicious delights from brands such as Calli Ice Cream, Jewels, Snack Right, Ooh! Mala & more. 

Beat the heat with guilt-free Calli Ice Cream — its offerings are low in calories and sugar, but high in protein and full-on flavor. Be spoilt for choice with flavors such as durian, chocolate, caramel, and strawberry. It also carries dairy-free options! Similarly, Jewels will appeal to the sweet-toothed. Its handcrafted rock sugar sticks are made from naturally crystallized pure cane rock sugar. They can be enjoyed on their own or used as a dipping stirrer to go with your coffee, tea, and even mocktails! 

Need more snacks that will fuel you throughout the day? Snack Right purveys delicious and healthy snacks that you can enjoy without guilt. Its best-sellers include Teriyaki Multigrain Rice Cracker, Roasted Jumbo Cashew, and Honey Sesame Walnuts. Ooh! Mala will satisfy your hankerings for mala snacks. It is the first brand in Singapore to launch the gourmet mala spicy hotpot potato chips — the crunchy chips are topped with aromatic, hand-pounded spices.
