REVIEW: Good Italian Restaurant in Singapore: iO Italian Osteria @ HillV2

Ya'll know how much I love pasta! I was searching for Italian restaurants and I discovered iO Italian Osteria which is located at HillV2. Their classic pasta menu is customizable and they have the very rare Cacio e Pepe which I want to try! Of course, you would also find pizzas here as well. Some of the notable dishes to try are Porchetta, Pork Sausage Saffron Orecchiette, and Homemade Tagliolini.

Address: 4 Hillview Rise, #02 - 01, Singapore 667979
Opening Hours: Mon - Fri 11.30 am - 10 pm
Sat-Sun 10 am - 10 pm

I ordered the Homemade Tagliolini 🍝 with prawns, asparagus, and aromatic breadcrumbs. This was a tomato-based sauce though the seafood flavors really shone in this! It was really creamy and went nicely with the al dente pasta. I really liked it, and it's not too cloying.

Cacio E Pepe means "cheese and pepper pasta." It's truly an easy recipe to prepare, using only pecorino cheese and black pepper. The classic menu includes the Cacio e Pepe.
The version at iO Italian Osteria was adequate and packed with creamy cheese flavors, however, I believe the black pepper flavor could be stronger and the pasta should be cooked slightly longer because it had a firm bite. The entire meal tastes really cheesy.
