REVIEW: Good Taiwanese food hawker in Singapore: STR TAO Taiwan Cuisine @ Jurong East, Toh Guan Road

STR TAO Taiwan Cuisine is a hidden gem residing in the industrial estates in Jurong East. Discovered this as I was deciding on where to go for lunch. lol

I ordered the braised pork rice and the salt crispy chicken cubes.

STR TAO's rendition of this Taiwanese comfort food classic, braised pork rice comes with a generous amount of sizeable chunks of pork, braised peanuts, and egg, some house-pickled cabbage and carrot, and a dollop of dry chili.

The pork is a mixture of pork belly and minced meat. Very well-seasoned with spices and flavourful! The pork belly is honestly so sinful with each piece having a good amount of fats. 😍 Though I feel like there can be more gravy as the portion of pork to rice is quite disproportionate. 

The salt crispy chicken cubes were so good! Perfectly fried to golden and crispy and so addictive.
