Discovered a good supper spot!!! 大连 Da Lian Traditional Noodles at Syed Alwi Road OPENS 24/7. This is a long-standing stall with more than 30 years of history but I think this outlet is not their first stall. They have another outlet at Balestier. I came during dinner time and the eatery was pretty empty. They also have other dishes such as satay, ngoh hiang, BBQ chicken wings, etc. The nearest MRT Station is Jalan Besar and Lavender.

I ordered their Teochew minced pork noodle (dry) with the usual fish balls, meatballs, fish dumplings, mushrooms, and fish cakes. I opted for no chili so my sauce is v simple with a mixture of dark sauce, ketchup, and braised mushroom sauce. I love that the noodles were springy and soaked up the sauce well. I also love that the sauce was savory with prominent sweetness from ketchup. The side ingredients were pretty bland though. Best to give this a good toss! 🍜
