Yakiniku-GO now brings you Premium Pork Selection, including Japanese Miyazaki Pork in addition to Value-For-Money options

You asked we heard! Pork selections are finally available at Yakiniku-GO! For the first time ever, the restaurant will be launching a Pork Selections menu to complement its line-up of beef, chicken, lamb, and seafood offerings. To be unveiled on 4 October, the menu features pork selections that are specially sourced from Japan. Two noteworthy brands are Miyazaki Pork and Duroc Pork. The pigs are raised in stress-free environments, so their meats are tender, juicy, and flavourful.

Miyazaki pork hails from Kyodo Farm, Miyazaki. At the farm, the pigs are raised on a diet of whole corn kernels. The Duroc Pig is a breed that is somewhere between the white and Iberian pigs. Its intramuscular marbling ensures juiciness and depth of flavor.

Pork Sanshu Mori Set and Miyazaki Tokujo Pork Set

The menu will feature two main sets as well as a la carte options. The Pork Sanshu Mori Set (150g, $16.80) comes with pork belly, pork collar, and pork jowl. Grill them over high heat and enjoy the sizzling meat and crackling. Accompaniments include rice, seaweed soup, and kimchi/salad. Want to indulge? Go with the Miyazaki Tokujo Pork Set (180g, $28.80), which features a trio of Miyazaki pork belly, Miyazaki pork collar, and Miyazaki pork loin steak. Discover the unique textures and mouthfeels of the three cuts. Similarly, the set comes with rice, seaweed soup, and kimchi/salad.

The a la carte options include selections from the two above-mentioned brands. They are as follows:

1. Pork Karubi (100g, $7.90): The shoulder rib cooks very quickly due to its high marbling — sear it to golden-brown perfection!

2. Pork Kata Rosu (100g, $7.90): This cut of meat has a strip of fat at the side and is incredibly meaty.

3. Tontoro (50g, $5.90): Well marbled with superb flavor, the meat is carved from the center of a pork jowl.

4. Miyazaki Buta Bara (100g, $15.80): These thickly sliced pork belly cuts will melt in your mouth!

5. Miyazaki Buta Kata Rosu (100g, $15.80): Smoky and crispy when grilled, the pork collar will pair impeccably with the rice.

6. Miyazaki Buta Rosu Steak (80g, $15.80): This thick slab of meat needs little seasoning as it will deliver a flavourful punch all on its own.

The Pork Selections menu will be available at all Yakiniku-GO outlets.

Catering to individuals, couples, and even a larger group of guests, the electric grills produce no smoke, so there is none of that lingering BBQ odor after your meal. Ordering at the restaurant is fuss-free and contactless: simply scan the QR code with your mobile device.

The restaurant is known for its selection of tasty yet affordable beef offerings. Have the best of all worlds with the Manzoku Platter (S$19.80) featuring Beef Short Plate, Beef Short Rib, Beef Topside, Beef Rib Finger, Ribeye Slice, Beef Tongue, Chicken & Lamb. You cannot go wrong with the signature Yakiniku-GO Set (S$17.80) which boasts three popular cuts of beef: short plate, angus ribeye steak, and beef tongue.  Finally, the special DIY Niku Sushi Set (S$7.80) lets you get creative and make your own sushi — just grill the meat, lay it atop the vinegared rice, and wrap it with seaweed! Garnish with kimchi, spring onion, and sesame.

Enlivening the grilled meats are four types of sauces whose recipes are formulated in-house by a Japanese chef: House Special Yakiniku Tare, Spicy Yakiniku Tare, Miso Tare, and Negi Shio Tare. Made especially to enhance the taste of the gyutan, the Negi Shio Tare is made with Japanese leek and four types of citrusy juices: lemon, lime, yuzu, and orange. This sauce teases with its tangy-savory flavor!
