REVIEW: Good Italian Restaurant in Singapore: Caruso Italian Restaurant @ Bukit Timah

Exploring Italian food at Bukit Timah again. Caruso Italian Restaurant is an Italian restaurant located at Bukit Timah road near Sixth Avenue. They have been around since Aug 2013. I haven't been to Italy myself, but they serve authentic Italian food, particularly from a region called Puglia.

Carpaccio di Salmone e Burrata

There were quite a few pieces of smoked salmon in this and they're not salty. Though they could give more burrata cheese! The smoked flavor of the salmon is a match made in heaven with the sweetness of the burrata cheese.

The portion for this wasn't very huge. The sauce for this was very thick and can get quite surfeiting.

 

Been seeing the TAGLIOLINI AL SALMONE on IG more than the Tagliatelle Crema that I tried previously. So excited to try this! the pasta had a vivid pinkish-yellow hue. Every strand of the Egg Tagliolini Pasta was clearly coated in rich cream sauce. The egg tagliolini pasta was completely covered in a thick cream sauce. I'm not sure if the salmon's color comes from tomato paste or not.

The pasta may be slightly salty or mildly fish due to the smoked salmon, but this was very flavorful!
