REVIEW: Good Italian Restaurant in Singapore: Pasta Bar @ Keong Saik Road

Found yet another place that sells Cacio e Pepe! Pasta Bar is located at Keong Saik Road and is helmed by Executive Chef, Alessandro Giustetti of Genoa, Italy.

I ordered their Garganelli Cacio e Pepe. Yet another pasta type that I have never seen before. Garganelli is a type of egg-based pasta formed by rolling a flat, square noodle into a cylindrical shape which reminds me of penne. Their pasta is homemade!                               

The Garganelli, an egg pasta typically found in Romagna in Northern Italy, is cooked to perfection and slathered with Pecorino, Parmigiano, and black pepper. This was then topped with a shower of freshly shaved pecorino.  The amount of cheesiness and the heat from the black pepper were well-balanced in this dish. This was excellent!
