Enjoy Cosy Get-togethers This Christmas with Asian-themed, Michelin-quality Fare from Kam's Roast!


Christmas is a time for reflection, catching up with friends old and new, and of course feasting! This December, Kam’s Roast will be unveiling the Kam's Christmas Special Set ($96.80, UP $102), which will whisk you away to the heart of Hong Kong and its famous food scene. It features the restaurant’s Top 4 authentic Hong Kong roasts, one side, and one dessert, so there is something for everyone. Enjoy a Michelin-quality, Asian-themed get-together with your loved ones, reminisce over the memories you have made this year, and usher in new beginnings! 


The Christmas set comprises the following: 

Signature Roast Duck (¼): Kam's Roast’s signature roast duck follows the time-honored recipe passed down from the founder of Yung Kee. The duck is prepared with Kam's Roast's secret marinade and then roasted Cantonese style to perfection. The skin is ethereally thin and golden brown, and the meat is succulent and juicy.

Soya Chicken (¼): The soya sauce is made using a blend of herbs including cinnamon, cloves, star anise, cardamom, licorice, and bay leaves, and it lends an incredible depth of flavor to the succulent chicken. The herbs are first cooked with ginger, green onion, light and dark soy sauce, and rock sugar for at least 30 mins. The chicken is blanched in hot water, then immersed into the soy sauce marinade and cooked for 30 mins. It is then brushed with maltose for added flavor and a beautiful sheen.

BBQ Pork Char Siu (Regular): The pork is seasoned with the Kam family's award-winning marinade. The specially selected quality pork is slow-roasted and has just the right amount of char for that smoky flavor. Each char siu is meaty, with the burnt bits adding a delightful crunch.

Crispy Roast Pork (Regular): Roasted expertly and boasting a super crispy skin, the juicy slab of meat offers a good meat-to-fat ratio for an incredible mouthfeel. This is a favorite for many Singaporeans!

Marinated Cucumber with Vinegar and Garlic (Regular): Spicy and sour with a fragrant hint of garlic, this side dish whets the appetite and tempers the meat indulgence as it helps to cleanse the palate.

Red Bean Soup with Aged Orange Peel x4: Cap off the meal with this light dessert! The aged orange peel helps to ground the sweetness of the soup while also adding nutritional value.   

Coming with four portions of rice as well, the set is available for takeaway, islandwide delivery, and dine-in from 1 to 31 December 2022. Delivery prices will differ from in-store prices. From the second week of December, Kam’s Roast will also introduce a new dish at the Jewel outlet - Char Siu Sauce Chicken at $9.80 (UP $14.80). Diners can look forward to juicy whole chicken thigh marinated with an in-house special sweet and savory sauce. 


Honoring a Legacy 

 Kam's Roast Goose comes from the family that incepted Hong Kong’s legendary 80-year-old Yung Kee Restaurant. Mr. Hardy Kam, the grandson of Mr. Kam Shui Fai, set up the latter in Hong Kong circa 2014. Within four months of opening, the restaurant earned a Michelin star for its array of authentic Hong Kong roasts. Mr. Hardy Kam chose to keep his 36-seater stall small as a tribute to his grandfather and father, whose business began as a humble entity. It is his hope to offer families and friends the chance to bond over good food.


First opened in 2017 in Singapore, Kam’s Roast is the first overseas branch of Kam’s Roast Goose. It carries on the Kam family’s legacy and brings Hong Kong’s roast to Singaporeans. Local gourmands can expect the dishes to retain the same taste and quality as those served at the original Kam’s Roast Goose.
