Ramen fans and enthusiasts rejoice! The spectacular FIRE RAMEN by Menbaka makes its triumphant return this December at The Centrepoint, bigger and better than before! Featuring a truly spectacular “Triple Fire Experience”, ramen fans will get to witness their delicious meal being prepared before their eyes in a jaw-dropping display.

Hailing from Kyoto, Japan, Menbaka has been serving up fiery bowls of delicious ramen since 1984. With 7 varieties of flaming hot ramen on the menu, Menbaka continues to astound with its breathtaking offerings.

Headlined by the Ultimate Fire Ramen ($17.90 / $19.90), which includes both the delicious Aburi pork belly and chashu bathed in Menbaka’s new and improved 228 years old Shoyu Pork broth that has been simmered to perfection. Guests will enjoy the spectacle of watching chefs igniting negi oil to create a tall fire before pouring it over their signature broth, creating a smoky, rich broth that is jam-packed with flavor.

Salmon Batayaki

Riding that fiery wave would-be star of Menbaka’s izakaya, the Salmon Batayaki ($58.90), featuring 700g of freshly cut salmon wrapped around a bamboo pole, basted with flaming oil to spectacular effect, braised with a blended sauce comprising of sake, kirin, and shoyu before being topped with bonito flakes and a slice of lemon, this dish is bound to delight both the camera and taste buds. Menbaka’s izakaya also serves a variety of fresh sashimi and sushi dishes, ranging from the Sakura Maki ($9.90) to the gorgeous Swimming with Rainbow ($8.90).

The final fiery act at Menbaka sees it introduce its brand new kushiyaki concept, where delicious meat and seafood skewers are prepared atop a Japanese Binchotan Charcoal Grill (Sumiyaki). Traditionally employed in Japanese cooking, the consistent heat of the charcoal grill enables Menbaka to showcase the best of its ingredients, creating mouth-watering skewers of pure decadence. Meat skewers (Pork Belly, Bacon with Enoki, Bacon with Shiitake, Pork with Leek) are available individually from $2.90, with seafood skewers (Ebi, Maguro, Salmon, Shishamo) available from $3.90. Those feeling peckish may order a set of 7 or 10 skewers for $22 and $33 respectively.
