L’Arte Focaccia and Pizza brings the headline-making focaccia sandwiches of Florence and a series of Christmas specials this holiday

After bringing handcrafted gourmet pizza Romana by award-winning pizzaiolo Radostin Kiryazov to Singapore, L’Arte Pizza & Focaccia (L’Arte) is all set to launch its focaccia sandwiches inspired by the authentic flavors from Florence!

In Florence, people queue for hours forming snaking queues around the block at the legendary Florentine sandwich shop. The sandwiches are simply satisfying, with towering gourmet ingredients layered between freshly baked Tuscan schiacciata bread for a sandwich experience that has made headlines the world over.

Inspired by the world-famous Florentine sandwich concept, L’Arte premieres its version of the sandwiches with its signature focaccia bread that is hand-kneaded and baked in-house fresh daily with flour imported exclusively from Italy.

Between the light, airy and crispy focaccia, a curated selection of cured meats, cheeses, and medleys of greens promise a satisfying bite each time. Take your pick from burrata cheese, smoked Scamorza cheese, coppa ham, salame piccante, porchetta, beef pastrami and more.

Italy’s Favourite Florentine Focaccia

L’Arte premieres four focaccia sandwich flavors as well as two salads, each made with the same meticulous care for taste and forethought for the quality of ingredients.

The Focaccia Buffalo ($18) layers the sandwich with generous slices of beef pastrami. Flavored with basil pesto, baked peppers, and caramelized onions, it is fragrant beef at its gamey finest.

The Focaccia Tartufata ($22) brings unrivaled earthiness with each bite, with a thick spread of truffle cream, topped with parma ham, mozzarella cheese, rocket leaves, and parmesan cheese. It is fragrant, punchy and, most of all, immensely satisfying.

The Focaccia Salami ($19) is a crowd-pleaser with lashings of cured, fermented, air-dried pork, making for an easy-to-eat option for palates of all ages. For rich creamy indulgence, the Focaccia Mortadella ($20) makes a decadent treat with fresh burrata cheese, layered with basil pesto, mortadella, and pistachio nuts.

To go with the sandwiches, the Salad Tricolore ($13) is a salad in the vibrant colors of the Italian flag, consisting of fresh vine tomatoes, avocadoes, and fresh mozzarella cheese, drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

Alternatively, more crunch and color present themselves with the Salad Perfetto ($16) comprising Romaine heart, butter lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and pepperoncini tossed in a classic Italian dressing before it is finished off with shaved parmesan and croutons.

A Florentine Christmas Made for Sharing

Especially for the holidays, L’Arte premieres a Christmas-themed pizza, as well as a Christmas Cheese Platter, made for sharing with your nearest and dearest.

The Pizza Tacchino ($36) piles on one pizza the best ingredients of an Italian Christmas, including turkey breast with strawberries, brie cheese, and pumpkin, before things are crowned with parmesan cheese, truffle oil, fresh basil, and thyme.

The Christmas Cheese Platter ($146 for 2 pax; $265 for 4 pax) is the perfect aperitif plate with slices of parma ham, mortadella, and chorizo accompanied by cheeses including Parmesan gouda, basil and garlic gouda, Italian summer truffle gouda and one aged goat cheese with honey. Sweetening up the frills are strawberries, pear, walnuts, and honey, perfect for nibbling with house-made bread. The set for two comes with a bottle of Urban Malbec Argentina while the set for four comes with the wine and addition of Estrella Inedit Beer.

L'Arte Christmas specials are available from 1 December 2022 to 2 January 2022. Pre-orders are open from 21 November via Whatsapp or Oddle.
