I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Hor Fun ($12.80), which included plenty of beef chunks, black beans, bitter gourd, and rice noodles that had been charred. The gravy ladled over the noodles was flavorful, viscous, and speckled with black beans. There were also bitter gourds inside, which helps to make this less surfeiting I guess, though I didn't eat them.

The Hor Fun itself was smooth with a nice chewy texture.

Although the beef wasn't the most tender, it wasn't hard to chew. The charred edges on the noodles indicate that the wok hei on this plate was really strong. This is the dish for you if you enjoy powerful wok hei.
