REVIEW: Good Nasi Lemak in Singapore: Tree Coconut Nasi Lemak at Jalan Berseh Food Centre

Trying out Tree Coconut Nasi Lemak 三颗椰子椰浆饭 which is located at Jalan Berseh Food Centre. The Nasi Lemak set, which includes rice, a fried egg, and chicken wings, is what I ordered. To complete my meal, I added the luncheon meat.

Their luncheon meat is good, too! The meat was pretty thick and it was fried in batter.

The rice was fragrant and fluffy. Although I could taste the coconut milk in the rice, I wished it could be served warmer.

The yolk was runny here, which was wonderful, as opposed to other stalls where the fried egg was fully cooked.

The chicken wing had juicy, soft flesh and was well-marinated.

No Nasi Lemak is complete without chili! The sambal chili here was the sweet kind. It paired well with the rice.

A stall that is underrated and deserves more attention. Even though Jalan Berseh Food Centre was mostly empty when I arrived in the late morning, there was no line.
