Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks Celebrates the Lunar New Year with not one but Two ‘兔’ Happy Meals this Year of the Rabbit!
The Year of the Rabbit is upon us this Lunar New Year and Shihlin Taiwanese Street Snacks invites one and all on an epicurean journey to Taiwan with its ‘兔’Happy Meals. Huat’s more, it is not premiering just one but two ‘兔’Happy Meals to really double down on the auspiciousness and deliciousness.
The sets are created to transport you and your loved ones to Taiwan with its authentic flavors, without the need for expensive air tickets during this peak period of the year. Available from 1 January – 5 February 2023, taste the best of Shihlin in two sets, A and B, each consisting of Shihlin signatures for a festive good time.
Shihlin ‘兔’Happy Meals
Set A consists of 2 XXL Crispy Chicken and 2 Freshmade Drinks. The perennial favorite golden fillet of boneless fried chicken is marinated with a secret blend and coated with flour before fried to deli-cious crunch. A mix of oriental spices is sprinkled on top of the crust, layering it with a flavourful kick. Then, it is cut into bite-size pieces for easy consumption. Enjoy it while it is hot!
Set B comes with 2 Handmade Oyster Mee Sua and 2 Freshmade Drinks. Delicate hand-crafted meesua is cooked in a special stock made from five premium ingredients and simmered over a low flame for an incomparably soft yet springy texture. Whole oysters and shredded chicken are added before serving to further sweeten the mee sua and broth, presenting a warm and heartening bowl of comfort.
Both sets are priced at $16.80 each (UP $18.40), available only in stores. At the NEX and AMK Hub outlets, the sets come with Elysian Ionized Water and are priced at $14.80 each (UP $16.40).
