Sushi Tei’s Yuki Matsuri Menu Warms the Heart with Delights Such as Three-time Champion at Wagyu Olympics Miyazaki Beef and Yuzu Buri Available from now to 14 March 2023

Get cozy this winter season with Sushi Tei’s newest seasonal menu entitled “Yuki Matsuri”. The word “Yuki” has a dual meaning: snow and happiness. Featuring delights such as the unique Yuzu Buri and the premium Miyazaki Beef, Sushi Tei’s winter menu is bound to evoke happiness during the year-end festivities!

Yuzu Buri Carpaccio ($16.80)

The Yuzu Buri comes from the beautiful Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture. This fruit fish is raised on a feed comprising yuzu powder. Made from yuzu peel and juice, the powder contains an abundance of vitamins C and E as well as antioxidants. It also imparts a subtle citrusy flavor. Enjoy the firm texture and aroma of this unique fish! The Yuzu Buri will be showcased in dishes such as Yuzu Buri Carpaccio ($16.80), and the Sashimi Moriawase “Yukimi” 4 Kinds ($31.80), which comes complete with salmon, mekajiki, and salmon roe as well.

Miyazaki Wagyu Fried Rice ($15.80)

Miyazaki Wagyu Steak ($37.80)

Not to be missed is the Miyazaki Beef. Hailing from the namesake prefecture, Miyazaki Beef is known for its excellent marbling and firm meat. This beef is a reigning champion at the quinquennial Zenkoku Wagyu Nouryoku Kyoushinkai, known also as “Wagyu Olympics” in Japan, and has won the top prize three consecutive times. Only high-quality Japanese beef that meets the strictest standards can bear the name Miyazaki Beef.

Get to savor this high-quality beef in the Miyazaki Wagyu Steak ($37.80). Presented in thick slices, the beef is pan-fried slightly and arrayed with ikura. A special sauce accompanies it as well. For a more substantial meal, go with the Miyazaki Wagyu Fried Rice ($15.80), which sees the beef tossed with fried garlic rice and egg.

Ebi Curry Roll ($9.80)

Unagi Mentai Slider ($12.80)

There are also other mainstays to check out. The unique Ebi Curry Roll ($9.80) is a must-try. A deep-fried prawn sushi roll is topped with lobster salad, then drenched with sweet and slightly spicy Japanese curry. Another exciting dish is the Age Kani Tofu ($13.80) — the crab tofu is deep-fried until it takes on a lovely golden hue, and served with a sweet-sour tonkatsu sauce. Coming in bite-sized portions, the Unagi Mentai Slider ($12.80) features premium eel topped with cod roe mayonnaise, mango, and flying roe. Each slider is also carpeted on a sheet of deep-fried gyoza skin. Cap off the meal with the Milk Crepe Roll Cake ($9.80), which is moist and tender! It is made with delicate crepes, layered with fluffy whipped cream, and then rolled with vanilla-kissed sponge cake.

Sushi Tei’s Yuki Matsuri menu will be available from now to 14 March 2023.
