REVIEW: Good Pork Noodles in Bangkok, Thailand: Michelin Bib Gourmand Rung Rueang Pork Noodles 榮泰米湯粉

One of my goals for this Bangkok trip is to try out a lot of local food! Rung Rueang Pork Noodles 榮泰米湯粉 was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand so we were excited to try! Situated only a 5-minute walk right by BTS Phrom Phong station is Rung Rueang Pork Noodles, which has been serving scrumptious pork noodles for over 55 years. This also looks awfully similar to our Bak Chor Mee. hahaha.

Address: 10/3 Soi Sukhumvit 26, Khlong Tan, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand

Opening Hours: 8am - 5pm

The menu follows a customisable noodle concept. You get to choose your favorite flavors, toppings, noodles, and sizes. (Scroll down for the MENU

There are four noodle choices available: Tom Yum Soup, Tom Yum Dry, Clear Soup, and Dry.

Then choose a noodle style such as egg noodles, bee hoon, kway teow, hor fun, glass noodles, or mee tai mak.

Customers can select from a variety of toppings, including fish and minced pork, pork alone, fish cake and fish balls, and a mixed bowl.

I can see why this would be a popular place here because even in Singapore, I would always go for BCM. Many Thai people consider it to be comfort food. Its rich and delicious soup, paired with soft and chewy noodles, makes for a hearty and fulfilling meal. The soup is cloudy, presumably as a result of hours of boiling pork bone. Rung Rueang Pork Noodles is topped with minced pork, crispy fried garlic, and a variety of other toppings such as bean sprouts and green onions, which add to the dish's flavor and aroma.
