REVIEW: Good Scrambled Egg rice in Singapore: Danlao 蛋佬 at Maxwell Food Centre

Danlao 蛋佬 is a new stall that opened at Maxwell Food centre early this year. They specialize in scrambled egg rice with various toppings such as Tomato ($4.50), Luncheon Meat ($5), Chicken Cutlet ($6), Char Siew ($6), and Prawn ($7).

I ordered the scrambled egg with Luncheon meat. It combines the savory flavors of canned luncheon meat, fluffy scrambled eggs, and steamed rice. The luncheon meat is crispy and slightly browned. They are such huge chunks too!! The scrambled eggs that are added on top are cooked until just set with a soft and creamy texture. The dish is finished with chopped green onions, which add a burst of fresh flavor and a touch of color. Luncheon meat with rice topped with scrambled eggs is a classic comfort food!
