Take romance up a notch this Valentine’s Day with issho izakaya’s 6-course menu served with stunning views of the Marina Bay Sands and Singapore River

If stunning views, stellar ambiance, and sweet seafood are what you’re looking for this Valentine’s Day, look no further than issho izakaya. The Japanese izakaya located in One Fullerton is bringing a 6-course dinner complete with stunning views of Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore River for an evening of romance that you and your special someone won’t forget.

Six-Course Symphony of Food and Love

issho izakaya’s love language is translated into a symphonious menu of Japanese seafood building up to a crescendo of Wagyu beef or Iberico pork of your choice, strung together with delicate Japanese skills and ingredients.

Begin with a combination appetizer that is sure to whet the appetite. Flame-seared Hokkaido scallop sweetens the tastebuds before deep-fried soft-shell crab brings a savory crunch. They come accompanied by a crisp salad tossed in issho izakaya’s house-made honey yogurt sauce.

Ease into the next course with assorted sashimi featuring the perfect balance of lean and fatty fish. Tease the palate with one piece each of tuna belly, amberjack, seabream, salmon, and sea urchin.

The nimono comes next, featuring a medley of baked seasonal fish, tiger prawn, and assorted mushrooms in an aromatic truffle sauce. Contrasting sweet seafood and earthy mushrooms are brought to a middle ground of punchy truffle sauce for a dish that will leave you wanting for more.

For the mains, choose your yakimono from Wagyu beef, Iberico pork, or lamb. Your selected choice will be carefully grilled to juicy perfection with shiitake mushrooms, leek, eggplant, and shishito pepper for an explosive meat dish.

The flavors continue with shokuji, a chilled traditional Inaniwa udon dish, silky and smooth as you slurp, fragranced with the delicate flavors of salmon roe and shrimp cracker.

For a sweet end, delight in a dessert of tiramisu with mixed fruits, tying together an evening neither one of you will forget.

Available across four days, the dinner is priced at $198 per person from 11 to 13 February 2023.
