Established in 2021, Takeshi-San rose to fame in Singapore’s Japanese dining circle with its iconic Sushi Kaiden staircase that leads diners to a menu of modern sushi offerings and an extensive selection of Japanese dishes at value-for-money prices. Located at the buzzing Lorong Mambong in Holland Village, it prides itself as a cozy and casual izakaya & highball bar where you can look forward to a good Japanese meal complete with drinks and live entertainment without breaking the bank.  


New Sides Made for a Warrior


Treat the palate to some smoky char with new Yakimono grilled delights. Yakitori sticks of pork, chicken, beef, and seafood are available ala carte or in platters galore curated for your dining pleasure. Take your pick from a wide selection of Tsukune (chicken meatball), Tebasaki (chicken wing), Shisito (green peppers), and Shitake mushrooms for a colorful and vibrant yakitori experience. 

Crisp and crunch can be found with the new Agemono fried delicacies like Mozzarella sticks with Spicy Sauce, Spicy Katsu, Ebi Fry, Kochi Nankotsu (fried chicken soft bones), and Tori Karaage. Also delightful are the Corn Croquette, Crispy Salmon Skin, gyoza, and chicken wings. 


For something hot, Nimono braised specialties are taken up a notch with chicken and pork belly items and soups, promising fall-off-the-fork tenderness with meats cooked in rich broths over a slow meticulous fire.

Add to your drinks night out with friends with Chinmi marinated snacks perfect as a nibble to your tipple with items like Kizami Wasabi (Soy Marinated Fresh Wasabi), Lobster Salad, Chuka Kurage (Seasoned Jellyfish), Tsubugai Wasabi (Wasabi-marinated Whelk), Kimchi Tsubugai (Kimchi-marinated Whelk) and Spicy Asari.  The new items added to Takeshi-San’s extensive offerings of drinks, including over 15 selections of highballs. Try highballs in unique flavors like Sui Gin Yuzu Highball, Sui Gin Lychee Highball, and even Umeshu Highball. The Japan-staple chuhai is also on the menu with flavors like lemon and lychee.

Take your pick from draft and bottle beers across Japanese brand names like Kirin Ichiban and Sapporo, delectable cocktails crafted from exclusive in-house recipes, and even a wide selection of hard liquor at value-for-money prices. Adding to the party is a wide range of sake from bestsellers Dassai to Kikusui and Kikumasamune as well as sparkling sakes.
