AMK Hub continues its sustainability efforts with promotions and event activations from 10 March – 23 April 2023, rewarding you with exclusive gifts, and even a series of fun and engaging toy exchange and fashion flea events. Reduce, reuse, and recycle with three reward tiers when you shop with AMK Hub.
Tier 1 brings a Gift With the Purchase of a food-grade Reusable Silicone Bag. Spend a minimum $80 or $160 with FairPrice Xtra receipts across a maximum of 2 same-day receipts to redeem a set of Reusable Silicone Bag. The promotion is limited to first 2,000 redemptions only, limit to 1 redemption per shopper daily. Each set contains 3 pieces.
Tier 2 allows you to participate in Answer & Win where you choose a card containing a question about the environment and two answers to choose the correct one from. Answer the question correctly and you’ll receive a $10 shopping voucher. Spend a minimum of $120 or $240 with FairPrice Xtra receipts with a maximum of 3 same-day receipts to stand a chance to play. The vouchers are limited to only the first 3,000 redemptions throughout the campaign period.
Tier 3 brings the environmentally friendly Save the Bags challenge, aimed to reduce the use of single-use plastic and packaging. Be rewarded with a physical return $1 voucher, regardless of your spending amount, each time you purchase confectionary products with your own reusable food containers from participating tenants. The vouchers are limited to 50 shoppers per tenant per day. The list of participating tenants includes Four Leaves, Jollibean, and Ho Kee Pau.
Swap For Greener Lifestyle at B1 Atrium
From 13 – 15 March 2023, shoppers can drop off their preloved books with Books Beyond Borders, who collect and sell gently used books to invest in rural classroom projects. Shoppers will also have the option to select and purchase the books during the fair. For all remaining books left after the collection drive, Books Beyond Borders would collect them and check if they would be suitable for future resale markets or would need to be recycled. From 16-17 March 2023, get the kids involved in going green for the planet with a Toy Exchange. Get the little ones in on the habit of owning and hoarding less, and prolonging the life cycle of their toys by bringing their preloved toys for a 1-for-1 exchange. Each shopper can bring along 5 (five) toys, with a limit of 2 soft toys per exchange.
From 18-19 March 2023, fashionistas can also do their part for the planet with the Fashion Flea Market, held in collaboration with Cloop. Reduce your fashion footprint and give your old clothes a second life with a resale to a new owner. Twelve booths will be set up, each leasable for $20 complete with minimal setup. Trade, exchange or sell your preloved clothes for the betterment of the planet. Shoppers are also welcome to drop-off their preloved textiles in the Cloop collection cages as well.
Grow Your Own Mushrooms DIY Challenge
For those with green fingers, try your hands at growing your own mushrooms by redeeming a free Mushroom Farming Kit and participating in the DIY Growth Kits contest held on social media. Share a post on Instagram and join the challenge with the hashtag #GrowWithAMKHub and #AMKHubKakis and you can immediately redeem a $10 supermarket voucher. Upon completing the growth challenge, post once more on Instagram with your full-grown mushrooms ready for harvest and include the hashtags. Ten lucky winners will be chosen to win a $50 supermarket voucher each.
