YUN NANS Stonepot Fish Premieres New Stonepot Chicken Soup Starring Exclusively Raised Kabir Chicken Breed

Following the huge reception of YUN NANS Stonepot Fish that drew long queues and high traffic across Singapore, the restaurant is launching a new culinary sensation inspired by the brand’s signature steam pot chicken soup. Introducing its latest addition to the menu: the rich and creamy Stonepot Chicken Soup with Pig’s Stomach (Regular: $39.80; Large: $68.80) using a premium breed of chicken.

The Kabir chicken is reared exclusively for the restaurant for no more than 120 days to reach the optimum weight of 1.4 kg-1.5 kg, retaining the natural sweetness and flavor of the original free-range chicken. The meat is also more tender and has lesser fat content compared to regular chicken. It is then cooked under high pressure with pig’s stomach, highland white corn, Yunnan golden fungus, and a hearty soup base. In just eight minutes, diners can enjoy succulent, melt-in-your-mouth chicken meat with a savory umami broth that is simply divine.

The soup base is made with simmering cured ham, pork bones, old hen, chicken feet, and duck for over six hours, added with Hainan white peppercorn to bring out its full-bodied richness. Every sip is a revelation and the perfect complement to the tender chicken meat.

Amp up on the satisfaction with YUN NANS Signature Fried Rice ($8.80), where golden grains of rice are fried with eggs and a specially concocted three-blend soy sauce by YUN NANS’ head chef. 


Don’t miss these signature hot favorites from YUN NANS including Stir-Fried Wild Porcini Mushrooms with Dried Chillies ($27.90) where wild porcini mushrooms, handpicked from the highlands, are flash fried with Yunnan dried chilies and solo garlic, giving it a slightly crunchy texture with deep flavors. Stir-Fried Pork Collar with Scallions ($17.90) features tender slices of pork collar flash-fried with light sauce, then tossed with scallion for a fragrant and sweet pop.


Wash it all down with Freshly Pressed Tangerine Juice ($6.90) which is as pure as juices and comes with half a kilogram of tangerines imported from Yunnan going into the making of one single cup. Freshly pressed without adding a single drop of water, enjoy the undiluted taste of sweet, ripe tangerines with every sip.
