What made this cake truly exceptional was the absence of flour, lending it a distinct lightness that allowed the vibrant orange flavors to shine through.


Sour Cherry and Lemon Financier:
Next, we indulged in the Sour Cherry and Lemon Financier, a treat that brought together the tangy and sweet in a perfect union. Financiers, known for their rich and buttery taste, took on a new dimension with the addition of sour cherries and lemon. The tartness of the cherries provided a refreshing twist, while the zesty lemon added a bright and citrusy note. The cake itself was moist and tender, with a delicate almond undertone that beautifully complemented the fruit flavors.



The Perfect Pairing:
To enhance our dessert experience, we opted for the French Kiss Kombucha. Infused with the flavors of hibiscus, chamomile, lavender, and vanilla, this unique beverage added a touch of floral elegance to our dessert pairing. The subtle effervescence and complex flavor profile of the kombucha perfectly complemented the Orange Flourless Cake and the Sour Cherry and Lemon Financier, elevating my taste experience to new heights.
