REVIEW: Good Claypot Chicken rice in Singapore: Yuan Yuan Claypot Rice 源源砂煲饭 in Bukit Batok Singapore

Recently, I was really into claypot chicken rice and discovered Yuan Yuan Claypot Rice (源源砂煲饭) in Bukit Batok.

The claypot chicken rice at Yuan Yuan is a harmonious blend of tender chicken, succulent salted fish, savory lup cheong, and a medley of vegetables artfully arranged atop fluffy rice.

Address: Mei De 美德 Coffeeshop, 273 Bukit Batok East Ave 4, Singapore 650273

Opening Hours: 11 am - 9 pm

Yuan Yuan Claypot Rice takes pride in adhering to time-honored practices, and it begins with its signature claypot chicken rice, cooked to perfection on a charcoal stove. This age-old technique infuses the dish with a delightful smoky flavor that adds a whole new dimension to the dining experience.

One of the standout features of this eatery is its commitment to freshness. Each claypot is meticulously prepared upon order, ensuring that every bite is bursting with flavor and goodness.

While everything about this dish is delightful, I must admit that I had high expectations for their homemade secret sauce. Unfortunately, it fell short of impressing my taste buds. Despite trying numerous mouthfuls, the sauce remained somewhat lackluster, failing to elevate the overall flavor profile of the dish.
