Baristart Coffee Singapore Premieres Limited Edition Teh Tarik Cream Puff for Singapore National Day

Reminiscent of the iconic Teh Tarik beverage, a Singaporean beloved, Baristart Coffee Singapore debuts a limited-edition Teh Tarik Cream Puff ($7) instead of Singapore’s National Day.

Baristart Coffee brings one of Singapore’s favorite drinks to life through this iconic cream puff with a twist. Crafted with the signature Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk custard made fresh daily at Baristart Coffee Singapore; it is then married with Ceylon tea leaves for that familiar Teh Tarik hit that is addictive and decadent. Authentic tea leaves are steeped and infused into the custard for a rich, robust flavor. Think creamy, milky goodness with underlying full aromatic floral notes from the tea.

Available for a limited period only from 9 to 31 August 2023, enjoy this exclusive treat at Baristart Coffee Tras Street and Baristart Coffee Sentosa for dine-in and takeaways.

About Hokkaido BIEI Coffee

Baristart Coffee Singapore bills itself as the first café in Singapore to use rich full cream Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk in its full range of offerings. The Brown Jersey cows’ milk is extremely popular among customers. With only eight hundred such cattle left, brown Jersey cows make up barely 1% of the cow population in Hokkaido. Rich and creamy with a tinge of sweetness, products made with this ultra-premium milk make a tasty daily fuel.

 About Baristart Coffee

Hailing all the way from Hokkaido, Japan, Baristart Coffee first started out in June 2015 as a simple coffee stand where one can hear all about the milk produced in Hokkaido and its relation to the coffee scene in Japan. Today, Baristart Coffee has evolved into a lifestyle café serving up a full-range menu. From coffee to desserts and savouries, Baristart Coffee prides itself on its use of pure uncompromising quality of Hokkaido dairy that is both rich and creamy with a tinge of sweetness.

The name “Baristart” comes from the words that consist of Barista, start, and art. “Start” comes from their desire to nurture professional baristas who get their ‘start’ at Baristart Coffee. Its other meaning, “Art” also meant that it is a barista’s duty to make tasty coffee with beautiful latte art. The team behind Baristart also explores farms and dialogues with both producers and customers to ensure the quality of coffee. They value these dialogues about coffee and everything that goes along with it. The baristas share their passion for coffee with customers both from Japan and from abroad as they go about their day. It is their aim to make coffee a part of customers’ daily lives just as much as it is a part of theirs.
