During my recent visit to Evertop Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice, I opted for their signature set meal. The set featured succulent roasted chicken breast meat, stir-fried baby kailan in oyster sauce, a bowl of comforting soup, and a generous serving of fluffy rice. Additionally, to my delight, the serving of roasted chicken came accompanied by a delightful portion of achar, adding a burst of tangy goodness to the meal.
I was surprised to learn that customization was not available for the set meal. This lack of flexibility raised a concern; I feared that I might end up with chicken parts that were less appealing to my taste buds. To ensure my satisfaction, I expressed my preference for chicken breast meat, as it is a standard choice elsewhere.
Thankfully, my request for chicken breast meat was met with a smile and a nod of understanding. As I took my first bite of the roasted chicken breast, my worries dissolved. The meat was tender, and bursting with succulents.
The rice was expertly cooked to achieve a fluffy and aromatic texture.
