Its legendary Hainanese Chicken Rice recipe has garnered recognition on an international level. Notably, it proudly represented Singapore as our National Dish during various Singapore Day celebrations in different cities worldwide, including Melbourne in 2008, San Francisco in 2016, and Shanghai in 2019.
During my visit, I decided to try the Roasted Chicken Drumstick set, which was served with vegetables and soup. The roasted chicken was exceptionally tender.
The rice was an absolute delight! Infused with rich chicken stock and fragrant pandan leaves and lemongrass, it had an aromatic allure that was hard to resist. Each grain was light and fluffy, a testament to the meticulous cooking process that transformed this staple into a delectable treat on its own.
Overall, the experience was above average and definitely surpassed the quality of most random chicken rice stalls.
