The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore once more pays homage to heritage and tradition this Mid-Autumn Festival with a selection of mooncakes available in classic baked flavors as well as modern snow skin varieties. These heavenly morsels once more come in elegant petite sizes – all the better to share with loved ones. 

The mooncakes are presented in a beautiful two-tier tin box featuring the glorious façade of the Capitol Building and Stamford House. The Celestial Collection also adds a chic canvas bag that is as functional as it is stylish as part of the gift set.

New flavors join the ranks of both the baked and snowskin mooncakes this year, each promising delight with every bite for a sweet and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival with loved ones. 

A Timeless Tin Box and a Chic Canvas Bag

The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore falls back on the tradition this year in presenting its mooncakes, choosing a classic two-tier tin box that spells timelessness. Dressed in the Kempinski signature red, one side of the box shows the façade of the Capitol Building and the other features the Stamford House, a key landmark in Singapore’s past, present, and future. 

Those who purchase the mooncakes in the Celestial Collection are also entitled to a chic canvas carry-on tote available in two colors – soft pastel pink or neutral dusty rose. Durable and fashionable, the bag’s roomy structure makes it a great carry-on for all daily necessities. 

Baked to Perfection

The Egg Yolk White Lotus Paste leads this year’s pack with pure lotus paste and a golden salted egg yolk, scrumptiously nestled in its core. The Macadamia Nut White Lotus Paste meanwhile brings with it a satisfying crunch to the affair with macadamia nuts interspersed throughout the pure lotus paste. 

New this year are additions of Almond Red Bean Paste of creamy red bean mooncakes riddled with the mellow crunch of almond nuts as well as Walnut White Lotus Paste that borrows added earthiness from walnuts to intensify the fragrance of white lotus paste.
