REVIEW: Good Artisanal Sandwich cafe in Singapore: Folk Yard at Potong Pasir Singapore

If you've been searching for a hidden gem tucked away near Potong Pasir MRT Station, your quest ends at Folk Yard. This charming cafe has been on my radar for some time now, with its tantalizing reputation for sandwiches that leave taste buds dancing with delight. I vividly recall a previous attempt to savor their creations when, unfortunately, their coveted sandwiches were completely sold out. Determined not to be thwarted again, I set my alarm early and made my way to Folk Yard, and luck was on my side as I secured a comfortable indoor seat.

What sets Folk Yard apart is their expertise in crafting exquisite sandwiches, and they offer a delightful variety of 6 unique selections.

🥪 Breakfast Sandwich with curly fries

The first creation to grace our table was their Breakfast Sandwich, a marvel built upon a foundation of Shokupan bread. This canvas was generously layered with cheesy scrambled eggs. To add a touch of indulgence, maple-infused hashbrowns were nestled within the layers, offering a delightful contrast of flavors and textures. The pièce de résistance was the candied bacon, which lent a tantalizing twist of sweetness to each bite. As if that weren't enough, the accompanying curly fries, crisped to perfection, added an extra layer of satisfaction to our morning meal.

🥪 Grilled Cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries

Next up was the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The foundation for this creation was a perfectly toasted sourdough bread that crunched with each bite. What lay between those slices was a trio of cheeses, their flavors harmoniously intermingled and elevated by the vibrant zing of kimchi. As a side, we opted for the sweet potato fries, which were a delightful companion to the sandwich, offering a touch of sweetness and earthiness to the meal.
