In meeting the high demands for pork, one of the most versatile and sought-after staple proteins, FairPrice Super proudly unveils its FairPrice Fresh Pork Counter for a wide variety of fresh, quality pork cuts. With our skilled butchers at the counter, we aim to provide an elevated shopping experience for your one-stop shop for your pork cuts, through various value-added services. 

Fresh & Exotic

A total of 35 Fresh Pork Counters have been installed across FairPrice across the island, each offering over different 20 pork cuts. 

Sourced from Malaysia, all pork is harvested and processed locally in Singapore before being delivered fresh to the counters daily. Fresh prime cuts aside, it also offers exotic cuts for a myriad of uses and recipes. Trimmings prove to be equally delicious and nutritious in different ways when prepared correctly. 

The exotic cuts are deftly cleaned and sealed in a tray, conveniently stored at the pork chiller for easy access.

Value-Added Services

Standing FairPrice Fresh Pork counters apart from the rest is a range of value-added services. They can help dice, chop, mince, butterfly, and more your cuts of choice. Full control is also in your hands, where you can choose the details right down to the fat percentage in your minced patties and more. 

The counters also come equipped with a host of recipe recommendations best suited to different types of cuts for your most delicious meals. For bulk quantity, FairPrice butchers are also ready to assist with pre-ordering various cuts for the freshest shipment each time. 

Frozen - Just as good!

Cooking is made easy with frozen pork, offered under the PORKEE range, through 8 different SKUs. Minced pork, sliced lean pork, shoulder butt, thick-sliced pork belly, cubed pork belly, and more come with pork belly sukiyaki and collar shabu-shabu for quick fuss-free cooking. Premium varieties, like the Iberico pork, are not amiss as well as chef’s pork ideal for cooking as well as Ramos pork ideal for barbecuing. There are pork finger ribs, sliced loin, sliced loin tip, sliced collar, and pork rack chop, just to name a few.

All pork is sourced from farms around the world, including Malaysia and Australia. 

Female Butcher

FairPrice Fresh Pork counters are overseen by Aunty Ah Hoon, a female butcher who has been working with FairPrice for over 40 years. Despite her petite build, she does not hold back her strength in chopping up various pork cuts. Driven by passion and knowledge accumulated from prized experience, she also often gives recommendations to shoppers and teaches them the various ways to best cook a pork cut.
