REVIEW: Good Halal Chicken Rice in Singapore: MD Noor Hakim Chicken Rice at Toa Payoh Singapore

As a food enthusiast with a penchant for exploring diverse cuisines, I recently found myself drawn to the vibrant stall front of MD Noor Hakim Chicken Rice, despite my infrequent visits to halal chicken rice stalls. Nestled within the bustling streets, this eatery stood out with its inviting display of tantalizing dishes.

Address: 168 Lor 1 Toa Payoh, Singapore 310168

Opening Hours: 7.30am - 8pm

Intrigued by the positive feedback circulating about their chicken rice, I decided to indulge in their signature offering, accompanied by a braised egg for an extra burst of flavor.

The rice, cooked to perfection, boasted a delightful fragrance without the unwanted greasiness often associated with this dish.

However, my excitement slightly waned when I discovered that the chicken served to me was predominantly breast meat. While it wasn't excessively tough, as some reviews had suggested, it lacked the succulence and tenderness I had anticipated.

Reflecting on my experience at MD Noor Hakim Chicken Rice, I couldn't deny the allure of its vibrant ambiance and flavorful offerings. Although the chicken may not have lived up to certain expectations, the overall dining experience was commendable, leaving me eager to explore more of what this establishment has to offer.
