REVIEW: Good cafe food in Singapore: Tiong Bahru Bakery at TANGS Orchard

Tiong Bahru Bakery is like a respite from the busy and noisy orchard road! It boasts 3 outlets in Singapore. One in Eng Hoon Street and the other one in Raffles City shopping centre. It's tucked at a corner of the TANGS Orchard shopping centre. Its space was not very big but when I was there for 2 nights, the place was not packed with people! Some of the bread there is produced by Gontran Cherrier. They have outlets in Paris and Japan! I was surprised as I had been to Gontran Cherrier in Shibuya, Tokyo. There's free WIFI too.

Address: TANGS Orchard (310 Orchard Rd.), 238864
Opening Hours: Monday - Thursday, Sunday - 8am - 8pm
Friday - Saturday 8am - 10pm

It's a nice place to take a break from all the window shopping or actual shopping with bags and bags of loots. Not sure if it's a good place to study though as never been here in the afternoon. The bread that we ordered was served rather cold. Coffee was alright though.
