REVIEW: Good Cafe food in Singapore: Chong Wen Ge 崇文阁 Cafe at Telok Ayer Street (Permanently Closed)

I think i visted this cafe during one of the Chinese New Year holidays last month. We went there when it was just opened so there's like no one there except us and the staffs. Always wanted to visit this cafe as everyone has been raving about the super instagrammable Peranakan tiles, but not so much on the food. I like the kind of old, vintage vibe the cafe is exuding. The cafe is just beside Thian Hock Keng Temple. Also in the same building as Chong Wen Ge Cafe is a small peranakan tiles museum and a music box museum. Be sure to check out the music box museum cos it is so cool~

Address: 168 Telok Ayer St, Singapore 068619
Opening Hours: 10am - 7pm daily

We ordered some kuehs which cost $1.5 each. Overpriced much! We also ordered some main dishes like Nyonya Laksa and Satay Bee Hoon which cost us $8.80 respectively. Nothing special about the food here and i could probably have something more yummy at a coffee shop or hawker center. Bonus Ootd picture of me at the end. lol
