Have been cafe hopping lately and this was one of the cafes on our list. Katasumi Koohii is located within a unassuming Chinese book store and who knows that this hidden gem of a cafe is at the back of this shop. This shop has a very Taiwanese style. It is very charming and Instagramable throughout.
They have a very basic selection of drinks and pastries. People would just order a cup of coffee and read a book or work on their lap top. No WiFi here though but i guess that's not necessary.
We ordered a cup of brown sugar latte and assam milk tea. We also had the Black Sesame Chiffon Cake and salted caramel roll cake to go along with our drinks.
Soft and moist chiffon cake topped with sesame cream. This cake is seasonal, so get it while it's still available! #chiffoncakelover will like this! The Swiss roll boasts a light sponge with subtle salted caramel flavor.
