REVIEW: FIVE OARS COFFEE ROASTER

They have a very instagrammable outdoor seating and blue neon signage! Five Oars Coffee Roasters opened last month and is Melbourne influenced cafe. Five Oars has the usual brunch menu such as Avocado and eggs, baked eggs, crab Benedict, breakfast sets, etc, but on a more savory side? Their night menu is also quite extensive as it covers pastas and main dishes such as fish and chips, steak burgers, chicken and salmon. The prices here are on the steep side from the cheapest pasta priced at $16. You can check out their menu here.

Mentaiko Mac & Cheese.
Macaroni buried in a blend of lightly charred cheddar cheese and #mentaiko. Along with the macaroni are prawns and crab meat which caught me by surprise. Recommended to try this when you're there!!
Another worthy mention here is the Spaghetti Granchio which is just spaghetti with crab meat tossed in tomato sauce but is so so so yummy.
Coq Au Vin is also not bad with tender chicken braised in red wine, mushroom, vegetables and potato.
