REVIEW: BUTA KIN AND TOP 1 HOME MADE NOODLES AT BEAUTY WORLD

You may assume that this shop sells "typical" japanese ramen like those in food court, but the ramen here at Buta Kin begs to differ. Do not be too quick to judge as you may just miss this gem here at Beauty World Centre. The food court is located at the last floor. You can get a complete set of tonkotsu ramen at $6.90. Mind you.. this bowl of ramen comes with jap onsen egg and thick roasted pork slices. The broth was made using pork and chicken bones and could have been thicker and more flavorful but came out light yet comforting. This is so worth it just for the price point alone and is also palatable.

Also located within the same premise is the Top 1 Home Made Noodles. Their specialty is as suggested by the shop name is Home Made Noodles and as to whether they are the "TOP 1" is subjective. lolol Anyways I had the ee mian noodles with fish maw. Ee mian is my fav~ so don't ask me why. A rather comforting bowl of noodles to have on a rainy day.
This shop comes with customizable bowls.

1) What Kind of noodles? Flat? Mee Sua? Ee Mian?
2) What type of soup? Spicy? Clear?
3) What type of ingredients? Premium ingredients such as abalone or fish maw? Or normal ones like prawns or meatballs?
