REVIEW: DUMPLINGS CAFE @ THOMSON PLAZA

One would never have expect such a niche and interesting cafe to be nestled in the corner of Thomson Plaza. Dumplings cafe like it's name suggests, sells dumplings! The cafe has a very country side vibe with vintage furniture.

Address: 301 Upper Thomson Road
#01-57 Thomson Plaza
Singapore 574408
Opening Hours: 8.30am - 9pm daily

I ordered the Avocado & Bacon Carbobara ($7.00), Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon ($14) and the dumplings platter.

The dumplings platter with the non-spicy savoury sauce costs $13.
White: Pork, prawns and chives
Yellow: Pork, cabbages
Violet: Beef and chives
Orange: Mala Chicken breast and cabbage
Green: Carrot, mushroom and cabbage

The naturally dyed dumplings are boiled perfect and have substantial fillings. The skin don't break apart when held by chop sticks. There's no need to dip it into the sauce as they serve this with the dumplings and sauce in the same plate. The dumplings were garnished with ginger, salmon roe and spring onions. You can refer to their menu here.
