Exploring the #hawkerfare of Potong Pasir. River South (Hoe Nam) Prawn Noodle is a pretty well-known stall there and is located at a coffee shop at Tai Thong Crescent. They have their own shop along with a drinks stall. That goes to show their popularity.
I ordered the Prawn noodle soup with pork ribs. It comes with tender pork ribs which came off the bone effortlessly and 2 succulent prawns. The prawn broth was excellent; rich and full of crustacean goodness. Did not have many prawn soup before.. but this was good!! I read that the prawn shells were fried in hot oil before simmering with pork ribs for more than 8 hours.
